Account Information
You can use ShuuApp without creating an account. In that case, we do not collect account information.
When you create an account, ShuuApp collects:

- A username you choose
Menu Images
When you upload or take photos of menus:
- Images are stored temporarily for processing
- Images are automatically deleted within 24 hours
ShuuApp does not use uploaded images for advertising or unrelated purposes.
Usage Information
ShuuApp collects limited technical information (such as error logs and device type) to maintain security, prevent abuse, and improve performance. This information is not used to personally identify you.
2. Data Retention
- Menu images are deleted within 24 hours.
- Account information is kept while your account is active.
- You may delete your account at any time in app settings.
3. Camera and Photo Access
ShuuApp may request access to your device's camera or photo library only to capture or upload menu images for translation.
Uploaded images are stored temporarily for processing and are deleted within 24 hours.
4. Internet Connection
An internet connection is required for ShuuApp to provide its intended functionality.
The connection is used only to provide the service and necessary technical operations.
5. Third-Party Services
ShuuApp uses trusted service providers (such as cloud hosting and translation services) to operate the app. These providers process data only as necessary to operate the service and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
If you choose to share content from the app, your username and, in some cases, your email address may be visible to recipients depending on what you share.
